Prism Power>> Site History
Prism Power was originally a card Captor Sakura fan site. I started building it in Geocities back in March 2004. It soon became the most successful website I'd ever built and visitors really seemed to enjoy it. However, one day, due to a major PC colapse I lost all my files and well... it just seemed like too much work to start all over again... by then I had some new exciting projects going on, such as switching from the career of "Social Communication" to "Psychology" and moving in with my boyfriend... I had also recently got a new job. So my life was a little stressing to think about my beloved website.
However, my ultimate hobby is building and administrating web sites, and so I started to miss PP. Then, when I finally got my life together and had some free time I started to work on the resurrection of Prism Power... it wasn't easy, sice I had bigger plans for PP now:1) I wanted a new host, still a free one but I wanted no banners or pop ups whatsoever, 2) I wanted my site to appeal to a bigger target and not only to CCS fans, and 3) I wanted to provide my visitors with high quality info and images...
Well, needless to say I found the host I was looking for, and well... I'm still working on the rest of my goals, and very hard, by the way. I hope you're liking the results so far.
Why the name "Prism Power"?
Well I thought of it while I was listening to Platina, the third ending theme for CCS: "I am a dreamer, Prism Power..." Also, tt's been proven that it's easier for the brain to remember names when the words composing the name start with the same letter. This has been used in cartoons for years, see for example: Donald Duck, Bugs Bunny, Mikey Mouse, Daffy Duck. etc. So, to sum up, I thought it was a name that was related to CCS and easy to remember.
