Chobits>>Character Profiles
Kotoko was custom-built by Kojima Yoshiyuki, a well known hacker. We meet her when Yoshiyuki kidnapts Chii, suspecting that she is part of the Chobits series. At the time, Kotoko's master calls Chii avery special persocon, and that makes her see that her Yashiyuki doesn't think the same about her. Kotoko's existance is very unhappy, since her owner is constantly looking for new technological toys and tends to misstreat his old inventions.
Because of everything above, Kotoko usually looks bitter and speaks quite rudely... but she ends up watching out for Chii like everyone else, and being addopted by Hideki. One interesting thing about Kotoko is that she was programmed to tell the truth at all times, which turned out to be very convenient for Hideki when Yushiyuki kidnapped Chii... and very INconvenient for Kotoko's own creator.
