Chii is our female lead in this stroy. She is a female persocon which was apparently abbandonned in the trash and Hideki re-activates her. However, she wakes up without any memories, so she has to learn about the world little by little, with Hideki as her teacher and Sumomo (Hideki's neighbour's persocon) as her guardian. Chii is extremely cute and sweet, and she always tries to do things for Hideki. She is mysteriously attracted by a series of books called "The City Where no One Was", starred by a persocon rabbit named Atashi. In these books, Atashi is looking for her one and only person... and so Chii intends to do the same.
There are many questions about Chii's past, and Hideki is constantly looking for the answers along with Shinbo and Minoru: Is Chii part of a legendary series of Persocons which have free will and feelings of their own (Chobits)? Who was Chii's owner? What was she designed for?
