Michiru is always following Minagi around. At first, Yukito thinks she's Minagi's little sister, but later he finds out that she's not. Thjis is a very energetic and playful girl, who's always picking a fight with Yukito. She deeply admires Minagi and is constantly trying to cheer her up.

Kanna saw Minagi as a little child from the sky, crying because of everything that had happenned to her. She felt sorry for Minagi and sent her a magical feather, which transformed into Michiru, the little sister she had lost. Michiru's purpose is to cheer Minagi up and to help her deal with her mother's illness, in order to give Minagi the courage to face her mother with the truth of the death of her younger daughter.
