Minagi is the thiord girl featured in Air. She is always playing around wqith Michiru as if she was her little sister, though later on we find out that she is not. Minagi is very quiet and shy, and she seems very secretive. She keeps star dust in a cup that her father gave her long ago, and makes perfect bubbles for Michiru.
Minagi lives with her mother, who seems to have a problem with her memory, since Yukito helps her out with some bags and the next day she doesn't remember who he is... strangely, she calls Minagi Michiru...

Minagi's life story is very sad: when she was little, her parents got separated and her mother was pregnant... because of the normal feelings that such events cause in an infant, Minagi wished that the little sister she was going to have (who would be called Michiru) was never born. Sadly, Minagi's mother lost the baby, and she's been in denial ever since: she calls Minagi Michiru and forgot that she had an older daughter. Michiru accepts all of this because she feels responsible for her little sister's death, and has never corrcted her mother.
